The Chancellor is the chief executive officer of MSU Buug. He/ She came into position through BOR election and through the appointment of the MSU System President. He usually holds office for a term of six years. The power and authority of the Chancellor emanates from the Board of Regents and MSU System President and as stipulated in the MSU Code of Governance. He/ She is the representative of the MSU System President in the administration of MSU Buug. He represented the values and philosophy of the MSU to the community. The Office of the Chancellor is the highest executive office, which oversees the overall operation of the campus. As a standard bearer of the campus, he/she affords leadership to the vice-chancellors, deans, faculty members, students and staff.
